Tampa Bay Handmade Wooden Bow Ties Ella Bing

Two unique woods make up this bodacious handmade wooden bow tie. The first being from the Golden Himalayan Tree, from India. As the name suggest the hue of the wood is light and golden to the look. The second, darker wood is from the Goupia Glabra Tree of South America. It is a beautiful maroon colored wood, that has been hand sanded down to give unique hard lines. Being that this Woody is two pieces of wood you get a very distinct appearance, sure to give the ladies something to talk about as they see you in the streets. It is paired ever so nicely with a lovely teal floral knot.

WOOD BOW TIES – EXOTIC WOODS – HALL OF FAME | ELLA BING

When the Board met in their secret location, where abouts unknown, this bow tie was voted in with an outstanding 90% approval rating. It was the Christopher Columbus of its day. Embarking on uncharted territory. The first wooden bow tie to use two distinct contrasting woods. With an alternating dark, light pattern, it’s easy to see why this bow tie was a first ballot Hall of Famer. The lighter wood being that of the Jack Fruit Tree of the Philippines and the darker being of Mahogany from South Africa. The Ella Bing Board is proud to induct The Bad Mam Jama into the Ella Bing Wood Bow Tie Hall of Fame.

Wood Bow Ties – Exotic Woods – Hall of Fame | Ella Bing

We remember like it was yesterday. Combing the exotic wood lumber yard, looking for that perfect piece. Looking for the unique piece of timber that would just POP! Then there it was, Canarywood, from South America. Beautiful swooping red grain, mixed with yellows, just like a famous Tampa Bay sunset. We knew at that moment we had a winner on our hands. Once our Wood Harvesting Engineer got his hands on this beauty he went to work crafting the perfect Woody. Simple, strong, hard lines match perfectly with the sunset wood grain make for a future Hall of Famer. And today we announce it’s induction into the EBWBTHOF, The Ginger.
